Each Spring, Twin Pines joins with other Disciples of Christ Churches in Lexington to build a home for a deserving family with Habitat for Humanity. This year we will be building our 43rd house for a mom and her 3 daughters!

Chili Cook Off

For more than 25 years, Twin Pines has hosted a Chili Cook Off competition, where disciples battle it out for bragging rights to the best chili in Lexington! Or at least we like to think so. If you have an award winning chili we look forward to seeing you at our next Cook Off!

This years will be on April 11th!

Sweets Auction

In the last several years, we have decided to combine our Chili Cook Off with a Sweets Auction to help raise funds for our yearly Habitat for Humanity build. In 2025, we raised $7,020.00! We are so grateful for the congregation and community support of this event and look forward to many more years!
