Twin Pines’ former, Senior Minister, Rev. Susan Ellis, elected to retire earlier this Spring and served her final Sunday with us on May 18th, 2025. Our deepest gratitude for the last four years, and we wish her well on this next stage of her life.

We are currently in the process of finding a new Senior Minister for our Congregation, and there will be information about guest and interim ministers on the home page of our website. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the church office.

Marsha was born and raised in Mansfield, OH. She began her Commissioning Journey with the Disciples of Christ (DoC) Church in 2005 and was commissioned in 2012. She previously served here at Twin Pines Christian Church (DoC) as our Outreach Minister from 2012-2016. She moved away from Lexington in 2016 and landed in Washington, PA. Although she was not on staff at Fairhill Manor Christian Church (DoC), she led their Outreach Team until she joined the long-term volunteering program with Brethren Disaster Ministries (BDM). BDM is in partnership with the Disciples Week of Compassion Disaster Response program. Marsha was called back to Lexington in 2021. Marsha returned to her role as Missions Minister at Twin Pines on October 1, 2021.
